Unbelief is refusing to believe in God and His Word. This often leads to distrust and disobedience to God and His Word, Jesus Christ. John 1:1, 14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. That is Jesus Christ.

Matt. 28:16-17; Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

Rom. 3:3-4; For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Rom. 11:20-21, 30-32; Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Heb. 3:12-15, 17-19; Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Matt. 17:20-21; And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Matt. 13:58; And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Scroll #277, “The saints will not depend upon their sight and five senses alone, but will rely upon God’s Word and promises. In the spirit, like the great shepherd, He is calling them all by their name. Besides the baptism of the Holy Ghost, (by which we are sealed unto the day of redemption,  translation, mortal pitting on immortality) He is giving them the sealing of confirmation; (through the scroll message for those who can believe it; as in time past many did not make it because of unbelief.) The chosen will hear the voice of the Almighty as He says, Come up hither. The catching away is near. The Holy Ghost is gathering His true sheep, (there will not be any unbelief).
