“This is a special article concerning prosperity and God’s will for you! It is not written to put finances ahead of the Lord, but reveals its place and need in the gospel and for your benefit!” We find Ps. 35:27 saying, “Let them shout for joy and be glad; let the Lord be magnified; which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” “Don’t ever feel guilty about wanting to prosper for God’s work! It should be God’s children who prosper and not the sinners, because you are promised this along with health, healing and eternal life!” It is a definite gift of God, Eccl. 5:19, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion and to rejoice in his labor, this is the “gift” of God!” “We must have the proper motive in using the finances that the Lord gives in good deeds and supporting gospel! The scriptures declare it is not the money itself that is evil, but it is the love of money that is the root of all kinds of evil!” (I Tim. 6:10) “The Lord put finances here to be used properly and to help in His work!” Hag. 2:8, “The Lord owns it all including minerals, clothing and the cattle on a thousand hills! We are joint heirs to what the Lord has by faith!”

“Some people give and don’t want or expect a return; this is not following God’s pattern for He loves to see His people do well, it glorifies Him! When the farmer plants seed he expects a harvest, for he is believing for one! And when a Christian plants his money in God’s ground (work) he or she should expect a financial harvest (blessing)! For this is proper and good in the eyes of God and glorifies His promises and Word!” – In Deut. 8:18, “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth!” – Verses 13-17, “reveal that He will prosper His people, but they must definitely give Him the praise! He warned Israel to never use it improperly by using it to form idols, images, etc.” – Prov. 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with thine substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses burst out with new wine!” Wine could also mean in this case bursting with new revelations! The Lord is happy when His people receive abundant blessings!” Ps. 89:34, “God is definite – My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips!” – “Look what David gave and how the Lord blessed him! I Chron. 29:3 -8, “Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house!” Verse 3 reveals even 3,000 talents of gold of Ophir, and he gave much more, etc.” – I Chron. 22:14-16, “reveals he gave 100,000 talents of gold, the silver, the brass and the iron there was no number! Arise therefore and be doing and the Lord be with thee!” – “It is incredible how the Lord will bless those who believe! David believed for it!” I Chron. 29:28, “And he David died in a good old age, full of days, riches and honor!” – “The blessings even followed on Solomon. – II Chron. 1:15, “And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones!” – Verse 12, “reveals it was God’s plans to do this! And the plans are the same for His children! And I will give thee riches, and wealth and honor!” – “But one must believe and remain faithful and true to the Lord and His work!” – “We use the terms here silver and gold because it was the current money in those days, (Gen. 23:16). But God will bless this way or in the currencies we have today, for His promises are still true no matter what we have to use in giving!”

Lev. Chap. 27, “gives more insight on giving. Verse 30 reveals the tithe is the Lord’s and it is holy unto the Lord! If you want to see how great they gave unto the Lord read Num. 7:13-89. Then look what the Lord did for them just a little later on! – “Balaam, who wanted riches, did not get anything, for wanting it instead of God’s will!” “But for being obedient to the Word after the battle God gave Moses and Israel 16,750 shekels of gold!” (Num. 31:52-54) – “They offered it unto the Lord and brought it into the Tabernacle of the congregation for a memorial for the children of Israel!”

– Ps. 105:37, “reveals God’s goodness! And he brought them forth also with silver and gold and there was not one feeble person among their tribes! And He will do the same for us today on our way out, and give us healing with it!” “And He has given us the cloud and fire with it too! Verse 39.” – Many more Scriptures could be added to this, but the Lord moved upon me to print these revealing His master plan and manifold wisdom for you! Understanding these promises will be a great help in the days ahead. Remember through recession and inflation God will still prosper His children to carry the gospel out! This is a good time to work and give to God because time is shortening.
