Deception is the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid. There are also 3 elements of deception

1.The sender or originator of the information knows it is false

2.The sender is transmitting the information on purpose

3. The sender must be attempting to make the receiver believe the information.

The originator of all deception in these last days is the devil, serpent and satan.

Jesus Chris is the way, the truth and the life.

Matt. 24:24; For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

1st John 1:8; If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

2nd John 1:7; For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

1st John 3:7-8; Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Eph. 4:14; That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Eph. 5:6; Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

2nd Tim. 3:13; But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2nd Thess. 2:3, 9-12; Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Obadiah 1:3; The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Deut. 11:16; Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Galatians 6:7; Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
