Distraction is anything that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else. In this case anything that steals your attention from the soon coming of the Lord is a distraction. Remember how Satan distracted Eve from the true and perfect word of God. Today also we need to keep in mind James 4:4 always. Satan loves distracted Christians. A distracted Christian cannot please the Lord God Almighty. Be ye ready, for in an hour ye think not is here.
Luke 9:62; And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 12:2-3; Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
