Geestelike oorlogvoering

Gaan voort….

Mark 14:32,38,40-41; And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him. And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Mark 9:28-29; And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Romans 8:26-27; Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Genesis 20:2-3,5-6,17-18; And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife. Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children. For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham’s wife.

Genesis 32:24-25,28,30; And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Ephesians 6:12; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(further study suggested 13-18) ;

2nd Corinthians 10:3-6; For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

CD 948, The Christian warfare: “When you begin to pray in the Spirit of God, the Spirit can do a lot better than you can. He will even pray for things that you don’t know about (even the strategy of the enemy in warfare). In a few words that He prays through you, He can handle so many things all over the world including your own problems.”

In a spiritual warfare a forgiving heart will cause you to have greater faith in God and greater power to move mountains out of the way. Never fret,When the devil causes you to fret, he steals the victory from you.

A summary:

Spiritual warfare is a battle between good and evil and as Christians, we are called to stand firm and fight against the forces of darkness. We can arm ourselves with prayer, fasting and faith in God, trusting in His power to protect us and give us strength. We must also be willing to forgive, as this will help us to have greater faith and greater power to overcome the enemy. Through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can fight against spiritual wickedness and stand firm in our faith in God.
